Armor sets and equipment slots
Sources: Fextralife armor · monsterhunteroutlanders.cc beginner guide. Verification policy.
Fextralife describes sets of five pieces at rarities 1 through 14, named after monsters from Great Jagras Set I through later Radiant sets. Each set page there lists defense, skills, set bonus, and forge materials.

How a set is discussed
A beginner note says set skills interact with skills already on the pieces. A full set is a choice, not an automatic upgrade. Builds on this site stay blank until a full five-piece recommendation has two sources.
| Piece | Role in a set |
|---|---|
| Head, chest, arms, waist, legs | Five slots |
| Set bonus | Separate from piece skills |
| Rarity | 1 through 14 on that wiki |

Evidence scope
The equipment counts, attack values, skill levels and material details attributed to Fextralife on this page have one upstream community source. They are unverified beyond that source, even when another page repeats them. Missing combat multipliers, drop rates and performance measurements stay unspecified.

Questions
How many sets?
About fifty on the wiki index. That is their count, not an official total.
