Outlanders is not Monster Hunter Now
Sources: Official site (English) · App Store listing · Wikipedia: Monster Hunter Outlanders · Monster Hunter Now official site · Capcom: Monster Hunter Now launch. Verification policy.
Outlanders and Monster Hunter Now are different mobile games. The key choice is a virtual island hunting adventure versus a location-based game built around the real world.

Choose by the kind of hunt
Outlanders describes exploration and crafting on Aesoland, original recruitable adventurers and solo or up-to-four-player hunts. Monster Hunter Now’s official site asks players to head outdoors and hunt monsters in the real world; Capcom describes its location-based design.
Both are available on iOS and Android and use free-to-play downloads with in-app purchases. They are separate apps and their named currencies, codes and progression should not be treated as interchangeable.
